Car-Pool Coupe is one of the latest LOL Surprise! toys out to satisfy your little one’s need for a car for her LOL dolls. After all, how were they supposed to get from their LOL doll house to the Winter Chalet or summer music festival?
We’ve pulled together a parents’ mini-guide of 5 things you need to know about the Car-Pool Coupe BEFORE you buy. This car is currently retailing for around $29.88. Check the price on Amazon–and if it’s close–BUY! You’ll save time, gas, and sanity.
1. It’s a car that expands to have a play pool in the back.
The cool thing about the Car-Pool Coupe is that it gives your little one lots of play options. On the surface, it’s a rose gold and pink plastic car (think updated Barbie-mobile) that holds 6 to 8 LOL tots dolls.
But…
Expand the back, and it’s a car with a pool and a dance floor. Perfect for an outdoor hot tub dance party (because we have lots of those).
2. Car-Pool Coupe comes with 1 tots doll: Drag Racer.
Drag Racer was originally released as part of Series 4 Eye Spy (remember that one) in the Athletic Club. She has been re-released with a new look for the Car-Pool Coupe.
Yes, all the packaging shows a bunch of dolls having a great mobile hot tub party, but those are YOUR little one’s hypothetical dolls. LOL Car-Pool Coupe only comes with 1 LOL doll.
All LOL Car-Pool Coupes come with the SAME doll. If you buy another car, it will be the same doll inside.
Drag Racer is a tots doll, the medium sized LOL dolls. The big doll pictured is an LOL OMG, which is around the same size of a Barbie doll. If you want one of these, you’ll have to buy it separately.

3. There are more than 10 real working parts.
One thing you have to love about LOL toys is that they are definitely well thought out. The Car-Pool Coupe has so many little details that your little one will love to explore.
Here’s what we found:
- Pop-up black light headlights (meaning the headlights are also black lights)
- Fold-out mirrors
- Tiny working seat belts
- Adjustable seats
- Glove compartment that opens
- Clip on cup holder in the pool
- Kitty key chain with key that slides into ignition
- Pull out driver’s side drawer
- Pressable stick shift
- Steering wheel that moves

Pro Tip: If you bought an LOL Lights Glitter doll and your little one already lost the included black light (or it stopped working), she can shine the headlights from Car-Pool Coupe onto those dolls.
4. It fits OMG dolls.
If your little one has already accumulated an OMG or two, they’ll both fit in the coupe for fun on the go.
Don’t know about LOL OMG dolls?
OMG stands for Outrageous Millenial Girls (of course). These big LOL dolls are about the size of Barbies and very reminiscent of Bratz dolls. They come with loads of accessories, cool stands, and lots of attitude.
OMGs are for slightly older LOL doll lovers and the car is marketed to girls age 6 to 8, so you may only need one OMG to please your little one. Alternatively, if your older girl has lots of OMGs, she may not be interested in the coupe.
5. It’s returnable if you buy from Amazon.
When a notice popped up on Amazon that this item is returnable, we were super excited! If your Car-Pool Coupe is missing the doll, comes broken, the paint chips off (a common complaint), or whatever, apparently now you can pack it up and send it back to Amazon.
