OMG Guys are the latest boys on the LOL Surprise block. Just like other OMG dolls, OMG Guys have cool fashion, lots of details, and big-time attitudes (in a good way). There have been past controversies about boy LOL dolls, but the makers of LOL dolls have steered clear of these with the OMG Guys.

1. OMG Guys are NOT anatomically correct.
Just like the girl LOL dolls, the boy LOL tots dolls are anatomically correct. They are meant to emulate little boys, so…
Boy LOL dolls have a “frank and beans.”
Yes, we know this isn’t the technical term for male body parts, but it was a less graphic way to explain what you will find if you get (or buy) a boy LOL doll.
Just like girl LOL dolls, boys also have nipples and a butt.
HOWEVER…
The anatomically correct boy LOL dolls have caused quite a stir among parents and on the internet.
Why?
Since girls are the primary market for LOL dolls, having an anatomically correct boy seemed a bit unnecessary and–for some people–offensive. If their daughters are not aware of the differences between the bodies of boys and girls, they certainly don’t need to be shown them by LOL dolls. On the other hand, anatomically correct boys can open a dialogue about these differences, providing a teachable moment.
FORTUNATELY…
The makers of LOL considered this controversy with the launch of OMG Guys and made them with molded underwear.
Therefore, OMG Guys are NOT anatomically correct in the same way that boy tots dolls are.
2. There’s only one version of OMG Guys: Cool Lev.
Cool Lev is the only doll released in this series. He’s the doll on the package, and he’s the doll inside every single OMG Guys box (as of July 2021).
But don’t worry: his clothes and accessories will fit other OMG dolls, so if your little one has other OMGs, she can use those clothes as well.
Currently, there is only one other OMG boy: Rocker Boi from the OMG Remix 2-pack.

4. Follow these tips to make the doll more movable:
All OMG dolls have bendable arms and legs (knees). They will be stiff at first, but you have to click them a few times to warm them up. After the limbs are working properly, you will know they are fixed in place when you hear the click.
If your little one wants to have ANY success at taking the doll’s clothes on and off without ripping them, she will have to pull off the hands and slide the sleeves on.
It may seem weird at first, so do it a couple of times for her and explain why you’re GENTLY (not ripping) the doll’s hands off. The removable hands make dressing soooo much easier.
5. A few minor things you should know:
- Cool Lev is the older brother of Scribbles, an early boy from Series 4 Under Wraps Eye Spy. If you notice, a lot of the patterns on their clothes are the same.
