Lots of us grew up with cardboard advent calendars. You countdown the days until Christmas by opening one flap everyday. If you’re lucky, your mom bought the one with awesome chocolate and you ate a chocolate a day until Christmas.

We have so been longing for a good travel theme from LOL, every since we saw Shopkins Shoppies World Vacation dolls.
The theme isn’t very apparent from the outside of the box, but when your little one lifts the lid, everything will make sense. There’s a great story about the LOL doll hunting down the world’s best pizza and a bunch of travel drawings. Each of the advent calendar slots are different pieces of luggage, suitcases, and carry ons.

The LOL advent calendar 2018 introduces us to Jet Set Q.T. This name is perfect for a cutie who is a world traveling foodie.
From what we’ve seen, Jet Set Q.T.’s water surprise is that she cries. She’s got to shed a tear for her family and friends when she hops on a plane to her next destination.
4. There aren’t 25 outfits.
We love the theme and that there’s a doll, but before you get excited about the #OOTD Outfit of the Day name…
There are not 25 complete outfits inside the LOL advent calendar. There aren’t 25 dolls either.
Each surprise is a PART of an outfit, not the whole thing.
5. The collector poster is awesome.
Remember before Series 4 when the collector posters were informative but lame? Gone are those days!

Once your little one opens the pocket on the inside lid of the box, she’ll pull out a little passport (of course, this toy is travel themed). Inside the passport are 4 little sticks and 1 bog Jet Set Q.T. sticker.

If you buy 2, the entire thing will be a duplicate. The doll, outfits, and stickers are all the same in each box.
