LOL Clubhouse Playset: The Perfect Budget LOL Dollhouse

We love the LOL Clubhouse! We think it’s the PERFECT budget LOL dollhouse…it is a club “house” after all. Rather than paying a fortune for the LOL Home Sweet Home dollhouse, buy the LOL Clubhouse. Your little one will get lots of house with loads of storage capabilities. Oh, and…there are bean bag chairs. Too cute!

1. The LOL Clubhouse expands to more than 3 feet wide.

While the clubhouse just looks like two stacked shipping containers, it expands out to more than 3 feet. That makes it roughly the same width as the LOL dollhouse if you open it all the way.

But, it’s actually smaller when folded. That makes the LOL Clubhouse a better prospect for smaller rooms and apartments, where you may not have that much space. It’s also easier to store than the LOL dollhouse because it folds up to cover the contents so they don’t fall out.

The only drawback of the size of the clubhouse is that the height of each room will only accommodate tots and lils. Therefore, the LOL Clubhouse doesn’t fit OMG dolls. If your little one is into OMGs and MUST have a play space for them, she’ll have to look towards the latest LOL dollhouse instead.

2. It’s plastic, not wood.

We like wood dollhouses…we really do. There is something wonderfully natural and nostalgic about them.

Until…

You add water. Once you put water on a wooden dollhouse, you get a warped mess destined for the trash can. We love the wooden LOL dollhouses, put the pool/hot tub/sandbox patio in front is a disaster. It’s the biggest shortcoming of the wooden houses. If your little one puts water in the plastic pools, it is almost guaranteed to spill out on to the house. And then you’ve got a problem.

HOWEVER, with the LOL Clubhouse, you don’t have to worry. The whole thing is plastic so it can get wet, dirty, whatever and you just wipe it down. Is plastic as natural as wood? No, but it’s a lot more durable for this type of play.

Oh…

And the whole thing folds up to be a storage container. We LOVE that! (Try folding that wooden house and see what happens…)

3. It’s already put together!

If you’ve ever spent half a day putting together the LOL dollhouse AFTER watching the assembly video, then you feel our pain. Fortunately, the LOL Clubhouse is ALREADY assembled!

Your little one can play with this toy straight out of the box. That means…it is absolutely PERFECT for birthdays, Christmas (no wasting your Christmas Eve assembling a dollhouse in secret), good grades, and more. Considering the price, this clubhouse is unbelievable.

4. There are 7 “hangout” areas.

What do you do at a clubhouse?

Hang out of course! The LOL Clubhouse makes ample use of all spaces inside and above with 7 hangout spaces:

1. Game Room
2. Skateboard Zone (outside)
3. Hammock Patio (on top)
4. Movie Room
5. Stargazing Space (on top)
6. Bedroom
7. Kitchen

5. The LOL Clubhouse has real, fabric furniture and pieces.

Our absolute favorite touch about the LOL Clubhouse is the real fabric accessories. The whole structure is plastic and there are lots of plastic pieces, but the fabric adds to the authentic feel of the whole playset.

Here’s what you’ll find that is made from fabric:

• working hammock
• bean bag chair
• bed sheets
• bed cover
• pillow

6. Two exclusive dolls are included in the house.

The LOL Clubhouse comes with 2 exclusive matching dolls: a sister named Switch B.B. and a brother named Glitch. You can only get these 2 with the clubhouse. They aren’t sold separately.

7. Glitch has a frank and beans.

This is absolutely the first thing you must know about all LOL boy tots dolls (including Glitch)…

They have a frank and beans.

Yes, these dolls are anatomically correct. AND it’s obvious.

Your little girl will see the male parts and definitely ask questions about them, so if you aren’t ready for the “boys are different from girls” talk, avoid the LOL boys.

However, if your little one has a brother (or even close boy cousins) so has probably already figured this out but never mentioned it. Might be worth asking her what she knows…

8. Both dolls spit as their water surprises…

So no worrying about the dolls color changing into inappropriate outfits. Your little one will just use them to spit on you.

9. There are more than 40 surprises.

The LOL Clubhouse is definitely full of things to unbox and unbag. All in all, there are more than 40 surprises. In addition to the house, the dolls, and the stickers, your little one gets furniture and accessories. And lots of them!

What Doesn’t Come with the Clubhouse

Here’s what you may have seen on the box or in pictures that DOES NOT come with the house:

• A bunch of LOL dolls and pets. Only 2 dolls are included.
• Pets, lils, and tiny toys. Although larger dolls are pictured on the box, there are none included.
• More bags and accessories. You only get the accessories that come with the dolls.

10. There are so many little touches.

Despite the items it doesn’t include, the LOL Clubhouse has so many details for you, your little one, and other LOL doll lovers to discover. The makers of LOL dolls, MGA Entertainment, included details in everything from the decor to the doll accessories.

Here are just a few cute things we noticed:

• All the accessories come in a cute storage box.
• There’s a flip-down dartboard.
• The foosball table and ball are molded to a high degree of detail.
• Great stickers on the arcade game.
• The tools fit in the toolbox.

The house was released in July 2020, but not many people know about it or how GREAT it is.

The in-store retail price for these dolls is $49.88. It’s about one fourth the price of the LOL dollhouse.
