LOL Surprise! Glam Glitter series is the long awaited wave 2 of the super popular, super hard to find Glitter series. Glitter series wave 1 is a special, limited edition with only 12 Series 1 dolls relaunched with extra glittery hair, new outfits, and all new accessories. You can still find a few around if you look hard (or spend the bucks on Amazon).

LOL Surprise Glam Glitter takes all the stuff we loved from the Glitter series and does it again with new versions of Series 2 cuties. Check the price for LOL Surprise Glam Glitter Series now. Here’s what you need to know about the series.

1. The surprise ball packaging is pearly pink.

While the packaging is pearly pink, the ball inside is black (white for ultra-rare dolls). The doll featured on the front is the Glam Glitter version of Sugar from Series 2.

2. There are 12 tots dolls in the series.

Some of the most popular dolls from Series 2 were brought back with glitter and new outfits in the series.

3. The outfits in this series are different from those of the same doll in Series 2.

Since the same dolls are being relaunched, you might think that the Glam Glitter series isn’t worth buying. It definitely is!

The same cuties get different outfits (and glitter hair) this time around.

For example, in Series 2, DJ wore a gold jacket and black shorts. In LOL Surprise Glam Glitter Series, she wears a cap sleeve gold top and black skirt.

4. There are no lil sisters for this series.

Although lils are part of most other series, there are no lil sisters in this Series.

5. All dolls are fabulous, rare, or ultra-rare.

The Glitter Series wave 1 was super popular, so expect the same from wave 2. If you see a Glam Glitter Series ball, buy it!

6. These dolls actually have glitter on them.

These dolls do have glitter adhered to their hair and accessories. In the first launch of the original Glitter series, the glitter was not secured properly, so it was common for the glitter to come off.

Fortunately, the makers of LOL dolls learned a thing or two and, if you buy LOL Surprise! Glam Glitter Series dolls today, they are unlikely to leave glitter all over everything.

Dolls also have a pearly iridescence to their hair or outfits (like the ball packaging).

9. Each doll has 1 of 4 water surprises.

The LOL Surprise collector poster lets us know which water surprise your little one’s doll with have. Each doll with either cry, spit, tinkle, or color change.

Even if 2 surprises are listed on the poster, the doll will only do 1. That means, if you get 2 different Cherry glam glitters, one may tinkle and the other may spit.
