Glitter Globe LOL Winter Disco is out and boy is it cute! This new series came out in a flurry of other LOL toys, so your little one might not know about it yet. Or, she might be totally confused because the name is super long and…is this series 6?

1. What is LOL Glitter Globe?
LOL Glitter Globe dolls are snow globe inspired tots dolls that are part of LOL Surprise Series 6 Winter Disco that premiered in September 2019.
Glitter Globe is the name of the tots dolls that are in the series. Winter Disco is the name of the entire series. Check out the other toys in the Winter Disco series here.
These cuties bring the winter feel, just in time for the holiday season, and have a cool new feature that we haven’t really seen on any other dolls…
2. They have snow globe hair.
Snow globe hair?!? What’s that, you say?
Snow globe hair is this cool effect in which it looks like the doll has a snow globe on her head. Basically, the doll’s head is molded with clear plastic with glitter inside. When your little one feeds the doll water using the included bottle, the glitter in the doll’s hair will change colors.
3. The package is a silver, pink, and green disco ball.
This multicolored ball is in the same theme as the rest of the Winter Disco series. Think of it as a holiday disco ball. It’s not perfectly round, but has lots of straight triangular sides that catch light. There is glitter and confetti inside the ball because…
4. The ball is a working snow globe!
That’s right…when your little one unboxes this ball, she will definitely want to keep it. Unlike most other LOL doll balls, the Glitter Globe ball is useful.
Follow the instructions to add water to the inside of one side of the ball to turn it into a working snow globe. Once your little one shakes the globe, she can watch the glitter and confetti move around and fall inside the ball.
BUT…
Don’t fill up the inside of the ball. The doll goes there. Read the instructions carefully to assemble and fill the bottle correctly.
Here are our instructions to fill the LOL Glitter Globe:
- If you put the globe together, take it apart.
- Remove the stopper cap on the side with the glitter. It is the round half of the ball.
- Pour water in the hole. Be sure to leave some space at the top so the water can move around freely.
- Put the stopper cap back in the half ball. Make sure it’s in tight.
- Secure both halves of the ball together. The doll can be put inside on her foot stand if you like.
- Push the flat stand base into the bottom of the ball so the snow globe can stand on it’s own.
5. The wave 1 package features Prezzie.
This cutie is styled just like a Christmas present.

7. NEW: Bubble pacifiers!
We’re so glad to be getting something other than another set of boring water surprise stickers. Introducing…
Bubble pacifiers!
Your little one’s Glitter Globe tot will come with a pacifier in her (or his) mouth that looks like she’s chewing gum and blowing a bubble. So cute!
And yes…these bubble pacifiers will fit other LOL dolls from different series as well as lil sisters and lil brothers.
8. Everything is glitter-ific.
All the accessories and doll’s clothes have glitter on them. At this point, the makers of LOL dolls–MGA Entertainment–have mastered glitter doll stuff so you don’t have to worry about the glitter rubbing off. They have launched at least 4 glitter series and included glitter on specific dolls and toys, so they know what they’re doing.
It is possible for the glitter to lose it’s brilliance over time, but your little one will have moved onto the next series long before that happens.
9. Glitter Globe dolls either spit or change color.
These cuties have fewer water surprises than other series. Glitter Globe tots have only 2 options for surprises, while other series have 4 or 5.
For this series 6, the water surprise listed on the collector’s poster is the only surprise for that doll.
10. LOL Glitter Globe has 12 tots dolls in wave 1.

10. There’s a boy!
You guessed it from the names…
There’s a boy in Glitter Globe Winter Disco Series 6. His name is Soldier Boi and he’s modeled after the The Nutcracker (prince) from the well-known classic Christmas ballet (and play and movie and everything else) called The Nutcracker.
We love the cool interpretation of this classic character–especially the gold flat top! Soldier Boi is also sporting the first eye patch we’ve seen on a boy LOL doll. Are pirates in our future?
11. You can build a Winter Disco snowman.
Another cool little add-on and detail for LOL doll lovers. Your little one can build a Winter Disco snowman by collecting one Glitter Globe doll, one fluffy pet, and one Lil (more on this later).
All the balls stack together to create an interesting see-through snow globe inspired display.
12. Here’s some Glitter Globe trivia for LOL doll lovers:
- The NYE in N.Y.E.Q.T. stands for New Year’s Eve (obviously).
- Bashful Q.T. is the opposite of Bold B.B.
- Bashful Q.T. is the angel you might see on top of a Christmas tree.
- We think Sleigh Babe is based on the costume Lindsay Lohan’s character from the movie Mean Girls wears during the holiday stage show.
- There are no popular rarity dolls in series 6 wave 1.
- The story for the Storybook Club is The Nutcracker. Dreamin’ B.B. is the main character, Clara, who dreams up the adventures she has with the Nutcracker. Soldier Boi is the Nutcracker Prince. The eye patch is a nod to some versions of the ballet that reveal the Nutcracker Prince is Drosselmeyer, a toy maker/magician who wears an eye patch as well. On Pointe is the Sugar Plum Fairy that dances for Clara and The Nutcracker Prince when they go a magical land. Tinsel is the Christmas Tree fairy that transports them to the land.

13. There are no Glitter Globe lil sisters because…
14. Winter Disco Lils are lil sisters, lil brothers, and lil pets.
LOL Makeover Series 5 introduced the concept of getting an LOL Lil, in which you could get a lil sister, lil brother, or lil pet. Series 6 continues that trend with Winter Disco Lils. Wave 1 has 12 possible lils including 4 girls, 2 boys, 2 cats, 1 bunny, and 1 monkey.
Don’t forget that if your little one wants to make an LOL snowman, she’ll need at least 1 Winter Disco Lil.
15. All the dolls are in a movie!
One of the coolest thing about the Winter Disco series is that everything has been thought out ahead of time. For this series, the makers of LOL dolls–MGA Entertainment–have partners with Amazon to launch a Winter Disco movie.
