1. Winter Disco Bigger Surprise has 60+ surprises!

If you’re going to go big, you’ve got to go big! There are about 60 surprises in total in this Bigger Surprise. This toy is a perfect standalone Christmas or birthday gift. It’s also a great gift for multiple children to share or to start off your little one’s LOL doll collection.

There are 3 layers inside the Bigger Surprise Winter Disco edition. We’ve summarized the contents of each one so you know what to expect.

The First Layer: 10 Accessories and Outfits

In the first layer, expect to get these mix and match accessories and outfits: 2 scarves, 2 pairs of shoes, 1 jacket, 1 hat, 1 pair of pants, 1 set of bracelets, 1 one piece outfit, and 1 set of sunglasses.

One thing you’ll notice is that there are NO blind bags in this layer.

The Second Layer: 26 surprises (4 dolls)

In this layer, your little one will open the complete LOL doll balls for 1 tots girl, 1 tots boy, 1 lil sister, and 1 pet. We’ll explain more about each doll below, but all in all there are 26 surprises in this layer including:

• Secret messages
• Bottles
• Shoes
• Outfits
• Sunglasses
• Purses
• 4 dolls

The Third Layer: 20 surprises (OMG Doll and Accessories)

The final layer includes a full size OMG fashion doll and all of her accessories. This doll is exclusive, so you won’t find her on sale separately or inside any other LOL toy.

If you add all these surprises up, you only get 56 surprises. We assume little extras like pet sand and reusable balls count in the 60+ surprises

2. All the dolls are in the same family.

Finally we get a whole big family without having to risk getting a doll we don’t want. Here’s the family photo:

Their names from left to right are Lil Midnight, Midnight Kid, Shadow, Midnight, and Midnight Pup.

Here’s what you need to know about each one of these cuties.

3. Midnight has 7 surprises.

We’ll start with the classic tots doll. She has cool purple pearly hair and comes with the classic 7 surprises:

4. Midnight Kid has 7 surprises and 1 “special” feature.

The boy LOL doll, Midnight Kid, comes with the usual 7 surprises of any tots doll:

• Secret message

• Shirt
• Shorts
• Eye patch
• Doll

BUT…

Since he is a boy, he has a little something extra special…

He has a frank and beans.

Yes, Midnight Kid are anatomically correct like all other boy LOL dolls. AND it’s obvious.

Your little girl will see the male parts and definitely ask questions about them, so if you aren’t ready for the “boys are different from girls” talk, avoid the Bigger Surprise.

However, if your little one has a brother (or even close boy cousins) so has probably already figured this out but never mentioned it. Might be worth asking her what she knows…

5. Lil Midnight has 5 surprises.

Lil Midnight is the lil sister and has 5 surprises like all other lil sisters.

The glasses, backpack, and shoes will be a bit big on Lil Midnight because they are sized to fit the tots dolls. That means Midnight and Midnight Kid can also use the accessories.

6. Midnight Pup has 7 surprises.

Just like other pets, Midnight Pup has 7 surprises:

• Secret message
• Bottle
• Outfit
• Glasses
• Outfit (in sand)
• Fuzzy outside
• Pet

Unlike other pets, this one doesn’t come with shoes because there are pairs inside the first layer of Winter Disco Bigger Surprise. The other unusual surprise about this pet is the fuzzy outside. Fortunately, the fuzz won’t rub off if your little one washes Midnight Pup.

7. Don’t throw away the sand…it’s kinetic sand!

The sand in the sandbox is kinetic sand, so it’s tactile and moldable, to avoid messes and spills and keep the fun going. The sandbox neatly clips together, to keep the sand in one place, and the kinetic sand adapts to the cute paw prints in the mold every time.

What is kinetic sand you ask?

Kinetic sand is super cool moldable sand. It has the look and feel of slightly wet sand, but it only sticks to itself. That’s right…no spills or sticky surfaces from kinetic sand.

It NEVER dries out so your little one can use it over and over again when playing with her pet.

If she likes kinetic sand, you might consider getting her a portable kinetic sand box. Kinetic sand is the PERFECT alternative to play dough!

8. The dolls from the balls color change!

Little ones love the color change so LOL Bigger Surprise gives them lots to play with. Here are the color changes for all the dolls in Bigger Surprise:

• Lil sister gets socks and sweater.
• Big sister has color change socks and outfit and cool makeup appears.
• Big brother gets back tattoos and rock inspired makeup.

Dolls will change in cold water and turn back in warm water.

9. Shadow comes with 20 surprises.

This family’s oldest, teenage sister–Shadow–comes with 20 surprises that you’d expect with the first OMG fashion dolls.

But there’s more you need to know about this doll…

10. OMG Fashion dolls are about 10 inches tall.

Since they are like Bratz and Barbie dolls, LOL OMGs are about 10 inches tall (much taller than regular LOL tots). They are slightly shorter than Barbie dolls, which are 11.5 inches tall.

LOL OMG dolls have bendable arms and legs (knees). They will be stiff at first, but you have to click them a few times to warm them up. After the limbs are working properly, you will know they are fixed in place when you hear the click.

Because of the size difference, don’t count on OMG dolls using many of the standard LOL doll accessories. The only items we could get to fit are LOL tot doll purses.

Some Barbie clothes MAY fit OMGs. However, the OMGs tend to be curvier than Barbies, so have your little one try Barbie dresses and skirts.

11. The hands come off!

Yes, yes, yes! If your little one wants to have ANY success at taking the doll’s clothes on and off without ripping them, she will have to pull off the hands and slide the sleeves on.

It may seem weird at first, so do it a couple of times for her and explain why you’re GENTLY (not ripping) the dolls hands off. The removable hands make dressing soooo much easier.

12. The purse carrying case is HUGE and has a flat bottom.

Like the previous LOL Bigger Surprise, the Winter Disco editions has the same flat bottom (so it’s not a full capsule) and glittery outside. Save this and use it to store ALL of your little one’s LOL doll stuff.

13. Keep and reuse some of the packaging.

There’s A LOT of packaging with Winter Disco Bigger Surprise. Here are our tips on how to reuse, or at least get the most out of, all this extra paper and plastic.

• Use the Bigger Surprise carrying case for ALL LOL storage. Your little one will easily be able to keep all the little shoes and fragile outfits together.
• OMG doll clothes come in paper garment bags (not plastic blind bags) with hangers that can be hung up again and again.
• OMG doll shoe box and accessories box can be used to store tiny LOL doll accessories like bracelets and earrings.

14. Bigger Surprise is for ages 5 and up.

A lot of people give LOL dolls to children as young as 3;

HOWEVER,

Don’t give Bigger Surprise to children under 5. There are many, many, small pieces that are choking hazards. They are really attractive to the littlest ones, even if you think they are past the putting things in their mouths phase.

15. All the dolls are in a movie!

One of the coolest thing about the Winter Disco series is that everything has been thought out ahead of time. For this series, the makers of LOL dolls–MGA Entertainment–have partners with Amazon to launch a Winter Disco movie.

The movie is only available on Amazon Prime Video Kids. It’s a great holiday movie for LOL doll lovers.
