1. What is LOL Amazing Surprise?
LOL Amazing Surprise is a deluxe LOL Surprise! toy with 14 dolls and more than 70 surprises. It was released in September 2019. This toy is a perfect standalone Christmas or birthday gift. It’s also a great gift for multiple children to share or to start off your little one’s LOL doll collection. The dolls in LOL Amazing Surprise are exclusive and not released as part of any other series or toy.
2. The box is massive.
Of course it is!
Shove 14 dolls and ALL their surprises into one box and the result will be a giant box. But…
If they are going to call it Amazing Surprise, it better be impressive. The box is more than 3 feet long and weighs about 10 pounds.
3. There are 14 dolls in LOL Amazing Surprise.
Finally, we get two whole big families without having to risk getting a doll we don’t want. Here’s the family photo:
The family on the left is the Downtown family. They have an edgy, cool downtown vibe.
The family on the right is the Uptown family. These guys are classy and chic all at the same time.
These dolls are exclusive to LOL Amazing Surprise, so you won’t be able to get them as part of any other series or toy.

4. The dolls on the package are the dolls inside.
That’s right!
Unlike many other LOL dolls and toys, the dolls on the package is the one that’s inside. Ok, well, if you get the package that shows the dolls on the inside.
And…
5. All Amazing Surprises are the same.
Just like LOL Big Surprise, LOL Pearl Surprise, and LOL Bigger Surprise, all the contents of LOL Amazing Surprise have the exact same contents.
If you buy 2, the entire thing will be a duplicate. The doll, outfits, and stickers are all the same in each box.
6. Meet 2 new OMG Fashion dolls.
LOL OMG Fashion dolls are the teenage older sisters of the popular tots dolls. Think of them as the LOL version of Barbie dolls. The two OMGs in LOL Amazing Surprise are named Downtown B.B. and Uptown Girl.
Since they are like Bratz and Barbie dolls, LOL OMGs are about 10 inches tall (much taller than regular LOL tots). They are slightly shorter than Barbie dolls, which are 11.5 inches tall.
LOL OMG dolls have bendable arms and legs (knees). They will be stiff at first, but you have to click them a few times to warm them up. After the limbs are working properly, you will know they are fixed in place when you hear the click.
Because of the size difference, don’t count on OMG dolls using many of the standard LOL doll accessories. The only items we could get to fit are LOL tot doll purses.
If your little one wants to have ANY success at taking the doll’s clothes on and off without ripping them, she will have to pull off the hands and slide the sleeves on.
It may seem weird at first, so do it a couple of times for her and explain why you’re GENTLY (not ripping) the dolls hands off. The removable hands make dressing soooo much easier.

7. Get 3 new, classic tots dolls.
The Downtown family has 1 classic girl tots doll, while the Uptown family has 2 girls. Their names from left to right are Downtown Doll, Prim, and Proper.
In general, each tots doll comes with 6 surprises:
- Collector card
- Bottle
- Shoes
- Skirt/bottom
- Top
- Doll
That’s 18 surprises from the tots.
8. There are 3 boys inside!
If your little one has been waiting to get a boy in her LOL collection, she can get 3 as part of LOL Amazing Surprise. Their names from left to right are City Boi, City Slicker, and Preppy.
Each boy LOL doll comes with 6 surprises:
- Collector card
- Bottle
- Shoes
- Shirt
- Shorts/bottoms
- Doll
That’s 18 surprises from the boys.
BUT…
Since they are boys, they have a little something extra special…
They have “franks and beans.”
Yes, the boys in LOL Amazing Surprise are anatomically correct like all other boy LOL dolls. AND it’s obvious.
Your little girl will see the male parts and definitely ask questions about them, so if you aren’t ready for the “boys are different from girls” talk, avoid the LOL Amazing Surprise.
However, if your little one has a brother (or even close boy cousins) so has probably already figured this out but never mentioned it. Might be worth asking her what she knows…

9. Get 4 exclusive pets.
We hope she likes pets because there are 4 of them in LOL Amazing Surprise. Their names from left to right are Wooftown, Downtown Hop, Uptown Meow, and Yuppy Puppy. These guys only have a few surprises, such as the collectors card, glasses (for 2), and the pet.
10. There are 2 lil sisters…
…and they color change!
The two lil sisters are Lil Downtown Doll and Lil Prim. Just like the pets, these babies just come with the collectors card and the lil sister.
11. There’s new unboxing with LOL Amazing Surprise!
Once your little one opens the main box, you’ll have to help her lift out the inner box. In the clouds and sky, you’ll find a small box with an envelope on front that reads START HERE. Make sure she begins here and doesn’t just rip into the box.
This inner box will eventually become a reusable city play scene…and you definitely want to get your money’s worth.
The marketing for LOL Amazing Surprise says that the unboxing is a maze, but we think it is more like follow-the-number advent calendar LOL #OOTD.
If you’re missing any blind bags, be sure to check underneath the boxes you pulled out. There are 51 numbers to open.
12. You get keys to open the trunks.
The red and blue keys are two halves that must be put together to unlock the red and blue trunks. One cool feature about the trucks is that they are double as carrying cases (there’s a handle) and storage.
Your little one will find her OMG dolls inside the trunks.
13. LOL Amazing Surprise is good value for money.
As you can imagine, buying 14 different LOL dolls at once would be pretty expensive. Here’s what you would pay if you bought all of them separately at the best available price:
- OMG fashion dolls = $27 each x 2 = $54
- LOL tots dolls = $10 each x 3 = $30
- LOL boys = $10 each x 3 = $30
- Pets dolls = $10 each x 4 = $40
- Lil sisters = $7 each x 2 = $14
