LOL Deluxe Present Surprise Series 2 is here! We are super excited because this series is definitely better than series 1. This cutely packaged box is perfect for an all-in-one birthday present, Christmas present, and back-to-school gift. Be sure not to confuse it with the very similar LOL Present Surprise that was released around the same time. Don’t worry…we’ll explain the differences to help you decide which one fits your needs.

1. LOL Deluxe Present Surprise Series 2 is the second take on the party box theme.
As we just explained, two very similar toys have come out at the same time: Present Surprise and Deluxe Present Surprise. Deluxe Present Surprise is the fancier of the two. Both toys come in confetti-decorated boxes with bows. However, Deluxe Present Surprise comes in a strong, reusable plastic box. It’s perfect for storing LOL dolls and accessories so they don’t get lost. Plain ol’ Present Surprise comes in a hard paper box. Sure, you can reuse it, but it can’t get wet and doesn’t have the longevity of the Deluxe version.
Moreover, the Deluxe version is a limited edition, so there won’t be as many produced as the regular.

If you prefer to take a little of the blind out of “blind bag,” you definitely want the Deluxe Present Surprise, not the regular Present Surprise.
In the previous deluxe series, you could choose from two versions: pink and teal. In this new series, there is only ONE version. It’s a magenta box with purple-themed content.
Keep in mind, if you buy this toy, you will get the same dolls every time. Every magenta box has the exact same contents.
2. There’s a sleepover theme AND little sister!
We haven’t been getting a lot of new lil sisters recently, but Deluxe Present Surprise Series 2 definitely delivers.
Introducing…
Slumber Queen and Lil Slumber Queen! We LOVE the purple cheetah diaper.
The whole box is themed around the two sisters having a sleepover. The doll stand is a bed for both of them. The box has cute illustrations and there are “party games” for the dolls to play.
3. LOL Deluxe Present Surprise has more than 15 surprises.

4. Both dolls color change.
Yes! Both these cuties will change color. Slumber Queen comes with a silver swimsuit printed on her body. The suit will change pinkish-purple in WARM WATER.
Lil Slumber Queen will appear to have on a pink shirt in COLD WATER.
Both of the color changes seem very benign, so if you are worried about that because of previous LOL dolls…
Don’t be for this series.
A note: Deluxe Present Surprise Series 1 came with a mega fizz. Well, apparently it was problematic, so there isn’t one included in this series.
5. LOL Deluxe Present Surprise is almost three times as much as Present Surprise.
Present Surprise and the Deluxe version have similar names and concepts but are pretty different. The regular version is more like a single LOL doll ball with half as many surprises as the deluxe. It also doesn’t include the extra party pack, pet, fizz, and more.
Because there is so much more in the deluxe–you guessed it–it’s more than twice the price of the regular version.
The Deluxe Present Surprise Series 2 retails for $29.88. The regular present surprise retails for $10.88.
Of course, you can search from store to store trying to find a Deluxe Present Surprise. Wouldn’t it be much better, though, if it came directly to you?
So we recommend buying online…on Amazon.

If you are buying it for a birthday gift, be sure to order two weeks to one month in advance. You don’t want the surprise to arrive AFTER the birthday party. =(
