1. What is LOL Present Surprise Series 2?
LOL Present Surprise Series 2 is a gift-wrapped LOL series based on astrological signs. That’s right, each cutie is designed based on the signs of the zodiac. Here’s the inspiration:

Present Surprise series 2 dolls are based on horoscopes and astrology, which are closely linked to tarot. Therefore, this series may not be appropriate for everyone.
For many people, horoscopes are just fun and don’t have any significant meaning. For others, their religion or spiritual beliefs do not view astrology so lightly. Present Surprise series 2 dolls are styled based on the zodiac sign. In addition, the sign is incorporated into their outfits and accessories. There are even signs and matching constellations on the box. If you are not into this, stick to Present Surprise series 1.
3. The Present Surprise series 2 package is a white, pink, and aqua hexagon box.
The absolute best thing about this series is that it’s already gift-wrapped for gift giving.

4. You cannot choose which doll is inside the box.
Each box will feature the same doll, yet a different doll may be inside. In addition, yes this series is horoscope-themed based on birth dates BUT you cannot choose which doll your little one gets. Therefore, she may receive a doll that doesn’t match her birthday.
It would have been really cool if you could choose the birthday. However, this series is still cute.

5. There are 8 surprises for Present Surprise series 2 tots.
LOL is keeping it classic with only 8 surprises in the series. Accessories vary since they are unique to the style of the doll. However, nearly all accessories feature the zodiac sign of the doll. Fortunately, all surprises come in themed tissue paper and environmentally friendly blind bags for that extra special touch.

6. There are 12 new tots dolls in Present Surprise Series 2.
Here are the cuties from front to back and left to right with lots of information about the doll and zodiac sign.
1st Half
- Rawr Babe = Leo. Birthday range: 24 Jul – 23 Aug. The animal associated with Leo is a lion. Rawr Babe’s name comes from a lion’s roar and her hair is designed to be like an ombre lion’s mane.
- Sting Grrrl = Scorpio. Birthday range: 23 Oct – 22 Nov. The animal associated with Scorpio is a scorpion. Sting Grrrl’s name comes from the stinger on the scorpion. Here two curl bangs also look like the scorpion’s front claws.
- Tough Q.T = Aries. Birthday range: 21 Mar – 19 Apr. The animal associated with Aries is a ram. Tough Q.T.’s hair looks like two ram’s horns.
- Waterfalls = Aquarius. Birthday range: 21 Jan – 19 Feb. Water is associated with Aquarius. Waterfalls’s whole outfit is baby blue, covered in water, and transparent.
- Earthy B.B. = Virgo. Birthday range: 24 Aug – 22 Sep. A lady is a symbol associated with Virgo. Just like Earthy B.B., she is often shown with wings and flowers or plants.
- Stomps = Taurus. Birthday range: 20 Apr – 20 May. The animal associated with Taurus is the bull. Stomps hair is shaped like two little bull horns.
2nd Half
- Claws = Cancer. Birthday range: 22 Jun – 23 Jul. The animal associated with Cancer is the crab. Claws’s name comes from crab claws, as does her hairstyle.
- Unity = Libra. Birthday range: 23 Sep – 22 Oct. Scales are the symbol associated with Libra. Unity’s earrings are actually small scales.
- Marine Q.T. = Pisces. Birthday range: 20 Feb – 20 Mar. The animals associated with Pisces are two fish. Marine Q.T.’s name and see-through aqua outfit are inspired by the ocean.
- Dreamer = Capricorn. Birthday range: 22 Dec – 20 Jan. The animal associated with Capricorn is the mountain goat. Dreamer’s hair is shaped like two small goat horns.
- Flipside = Gemini. Birthday range: 21 May – 21 Jun. Twins are the symbol associated with Gemini. Flipside shows that there are two sides to everything in her hair, earrings, and clothes. What’s more exciting? She comes with a mini-me twin!!
- Star Gazer = Sagittarius. Birthday range: 23 Nov – 20 Dec. The archer or a bow and arrow are the symbols associated with Saggitarius. Star Gazer’s name is a reference to the nature of Sagittarius, as is her bow and arrow accessory.

7. Here’s are more cute touches we noticed and tips on how to make this extra fun:
- Flipside is the ultra-rare doll in this series.
- The collector poster from this series is shaped like a circular star chart. Which sign coordinates to her birthday? Have her research the characteristics for her zodiac sign and decide if this is accurate for her (we’ve found the descriptions to be hit or miss, but loads of fun).
- The box for the series shows the constellations for each character. Have your little one look up the constellations for each doll, draw her own version, or look for them in the night sky.
- Have her research Chinese zodiac signs. How are they similar or different from the ones in Western astrology?
8. There are no boys in this series…
If your little one doesn’t know about the differences between boys and girls yet, then this series is for you. There are no boys in the series, so there will be no surprises during the unboxing.
9. There are no lil sisters in Present Surprise Series 2.
Present Surprise dolls that are available right now don’t have lil sisters as part of their wave on the collector poster.
Perhaps they will come in a Lils series like in some of the other series.
10. There is a Present Surprise series 1!
