1. What is LOL Present Surprise Series 1?
LOL Present Surprise Series 1 is a gift-wrapped LOL series based on birthstones. That’s right, each cutie is designed based on the birthstone calendar of the International Gems Society. Here’s the inspiration:

The absolute best thing about this series is that it’s already gift-wrapped for gift giving.
Ever try in vain to wrap one of those LOL doll balls. So have we!
We’re excited to have a product that is already wrapped to take away at least one headache. Present Surprise series 1 comes in a confetti decorated box. There’s even a bow on top.
The box is reusable. Our little one’s favorite use for the box is as storage for her other LOL doll things.
3. The box features Festive B.B.
The box for this series features Festive B.B on the main face. B.B. stands for baby, of course. She has great yellow-green coloring, a stacked beehive with bangs hairdo, and a chic party dress.
Why is this important?
Knowing which dolls are on which products helps you avoid FAKE LOL doll toys that will have a similar look with different dolls.
4. You cannot choose which doll is inside the box.
Each box will feature the same doll, yet a different doll may be inside. In addition, yes this series is birthstone-themed based on birthdays BUT you cannot choose which doll your little one gets. Therefore, she may receive a doll that doesn’t match her birthday.
It would have been really cool if you could choose the birthday. However, this series is still cute.

6. This series may not be appropriate for everyone.
Present Surprise series 1 dolls were launched BEFORE the recent controversy about LOL dolls. Therefore, this series may not be appropriate for everyone.
For example, the Aqua and Pearl Q.T. are wearing fishnet stockings as part of their outfits. Four of the 12 dolls color change to show revealing clothing. While we like to think these are just swimsuits, everyone may not feel that way.

7. There are no boys in this series…
If your little one doesn’t know about the differences between boys and girls yet, then this series is for you. There are no boys in the series, so there will be no surprises during the unboxing.
8. There are no lil sisters in Present Surprise Series 1.
Present Surprise dolls that are available right now don’t have lil sisters as part of their wave on the collector poster.
Perhaps they will come in a Lils series like in some of the other series.
9. There is a Present Surprise series 2!
Love the theme but don’t want to risk duplicates? Check out Present Surprise series 2. More great gift-wrapped dolls, but this time based on star signs (or horoscope). It’s got the same number of surprises and same great touches as series 1.
