LOL Fuzzy Pets are THE LOL Surprise! pets of Series 5 Makeover Series. Just like Series 4 Eye Spy Pets and Series 3 Confetti Pop Pets, they have a lot of traits of their series, plus a few new extras.

1. What are Series 5 LOL Fuzzy Pets?

LOL Fuzzy Pets are the pet dolls for LOL Surprise! Series 5 Makeover Series. They are called fuzzy because there is a thin layer of fuzz all over the pet once it is unboxed and removed from the blind bag.

Since they are part of the Makeover Series, LOL Fuzzy Pets have a pet “salon” theme and can be washed.

However…

2. You can wash off the fuzz only once.

The fuzz all over the pet cutie is temporary.

That’s right…the fuzz rubs off.

Once your little one tries to wash the pet (as the surprise package says you can), the pet fuzz will start coming off. She will be compelled to rub the rest off. The fuzz comes off in the wash to reveal the clean pet.

So, you cannot wash the fuzz repeatedly. It will start to come off as soon as your little uses soap, water, and a sponge.

3. The surprise packaging is a pink bottle.

Makeover Series continues to be unusual! No surprise balls for these guys…LOL Fuzzy Pets packages are a super weird shape. The outside is the same argyle medium and light pink print of the other Makeover Series dolls. The actual package is shaped like a shampoo bottle for washing the pets.

4. The wave 1 package features Raccoon-stronaut.

It may be difficult from the outside of the package, but wave 1 LOL Fuzzy Pets feature a new pet raccoon. She’s covered in pink fuzz so it’s difficult to tell that that is what she is.

5. LOL Fuzzy Pets have 7 surprises.

Just like pets in other series, Series 5 LOL Fuzzy Pets have 7 listed surprises.

1. Mirror
2. Secret clue
3. Bottle
4. Pooper scooper
5. Pet accessory
6. Shoes
7. Fuzzy pet

But there are really more…

6. Be sure to break open the kinetic sand.

LOL Fuzzy Pets have a few other treats:

• Small disc tub
• Magnetic sand
• Pet collar (or shoes) inside the magnetic sand

One accessory–the pet collar or shoes–is hidden inside the pet sand. Your little one can use the pooper scooper to dig out the accessory.

Unfortunately, if the shoes are the accessory that is hidden in the sand, it is a little bit of work to get all the sand out of the inside of the tiny shoes. The easiest way to remove the sand is just to wash the shoes and then wipe them with a small cloth or wet wipe.

The sand in the sandbox is kinetic sand, so it’s tactile and moldable, to avoid messes and spills and keep the fun going. The sandbox neatly clips together, to keep the sand in one place, and the kinetic sand adapts to the cute paw prints in the mold every time.

What is kinetic sand you ask?

Kinetic sand is super cool moldable sand. It has the look and feel of slightly wet sand, but it only sticks to itself. That’s right…no spills or sticky surfaces from kinetic sand.

It NEVER dries out so your little one can use it over and over again when playing with her pet.

If she likes kinetic sand, you might consider getting her a portable kinetic sand box. Kinetic sand is the PERFECT alternative to play dough!

7. There are 3 new animals in LOL Fuzzy Pets.

So far, pets have included dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, horses, birds, and other animals. Fuzzy Pets gives us 3 new cuties: raccoons, monkeys, and ferrets.

Raccoons and ferrets aren’t particularly cute in real life, but somehow LOL Surprise! brings out the cuteness in everything.

8. Different animals have different surprises.

Unlike LOL lil sisters, no all pets color change. Pets may color change, tinkle, cry, or spit water just like the tots dolls.

Be sure to check the collector poster for your little one’s pet’s water surprise. And remember…

Only ONE of the water surprises listed is for that particular pet. One pet will not do both of them. Check out this info on color changes and other water surprises to really get an understanding.

10. Here’s some Series 5 Makeover Series Fuzzy Pets trivia for LOL super fans:

• Bhaddie Monkey is a flying monkey from the Wizard of Oz.
• Each of the Storybook Club members of Series 4 are from Wizard of Oz. Bhaddie from Series 5 wave 1 is also from the story because Series 5 wave is technically Series 4 wave 3 as well.
• Kansas K9 is Toto from the Wizard of Oz, too.

The suggested retail price is $12.99.

Prices do fluctuate on Amazon but if it’s close to this, BUY! Check the price on Amazon now.

The price may go down if it is sold at a lower retail price by Walmart. For example, if the Walmart price is $12.88, then Amazon will likely keep the price at $12.99.

Some pets have gone as low as $9.99 in the past, but this is unlikely given the cool new features of these little ones. Check the price of Series 4 pets for comparison.
